What it does

Date-bound reminders tied to a candidate. “Follow up on Friday”, “Call back after holidays”, “Confirm references by the 15th”. Each task has a due date, an owner, and a completion state. Tasks that are due today or overdue roll up on the main dashboard so nothing slips.

The Tasks tab. Tick the checkbox to mark a task done; it moves to the completed list.

How to use it

  1. Open the Tasks tab

Open tasks are listed first, completed tasks below.

  2. Add a task

Click + New task, enter a title, due date and optional owner. Save.

  3. Complete a task

Tick the checkbox on a task row. It moves to the completed section.

  4. Edit

Click a task to change its title, due date or owner.

Creating a task

The new task dialog. Title, due date and assignee are the essentials.

Click New task. Enter a title (e.g. “Send 2-week follow-up”), pick a due date, pick an assignee (defaults to you). Optional: description, priority, repeat schedule (daily, weekly).

Reminders and notifications

The assignee receives:

  • An in-app notification on the due date (8 AM their local time by default).
  • An email if their notification preferences allow it.
  • An overdue badge on the candidate profile if the task is past due.

Tips

  • Use tasks for sourcing follow-ups. “Re-contact in 6 months” tasks turn cold leads into pipelined candidates.
  • Assign to the right person. If the candidate has been transferred to a teammate, reassign open tasks too.
  • Repeating tasks are great for nurture. “Quarterly check-in with passive top-of-funnel” is a one-click setup with repeat.
