The Description tab is where you write and maintain the job description stored on a template. This is the main text candidates read on your career page — make it clear, compelling, and complete.

Fields on this tab

Field	Notes
Status	Active / Inactive toggle for the template.
Language	Selector to switch between supported languages when your organization is multilingual.
Title	The job title. Click to edit inline; saved automatically.
Short Description	A brief summary shown on job cards. Click to edit inline; saved automatically.
Full Description	The full rich-text body. Click to edit inline; saved automatically.
General Skills	A text field for general skill requirements. Click to edit inline; saved automatically.

Changes on this tab are saved inline — there is no separate Save button at the top of the page. Each field saves when you confirm the edit.

AI description assistant

An AI assistant panel is available alongside the editor for every organization. It does not overwrite anything automatically — you review the result first and decide whether to apply it.

Its actions: Generate with AI; Improve with AI, Translate and Summarize with AI once the full description is written; and Fix spelling as soon as the title, the short description or the full description has text. Fix spelling checks those three fields in the language of the Language selector in one pass, lists the corrections as “before” → “after” and shows the original and the corrected version of each field. Formatting (lists, links) is kept and nothing is rephrased; only filled-in fields are checked. Nothing changes until you accept — on accept, the corrected fields are updated and saved.

Note

Spellcheck. The browser underlines misspelled words in the compose language — the one in the tab’s Language selector, not your interface language. If nothing gets underlined in French or Spanish, install that dictionary in your browser. Fix spelling (AI assistant) then proposes a corrected version — spelling, grammar, punctuation, accents — with the list of corrections; nothing is applied until you accept.

An AI title suggester is also available below the title field to propose alternative job titles based on the description.

Note

The AI assistant and title suggester are included for every organization and do not depend on the Nextal AI integration. They are shown to users with template-edit access — if you do not see the panel, ask your Nextal administrator for that permission.

Tips

• Write the description in the language most candidates will read first, then use the language selector to maintain a second-language version.
• Keep a “What we offer” section — benefits, culture, and growth opportunities increase application rates.
• Review AI output carefully before applying it. The assistant is a starting point, not a final draft.
