Facebook Pixel
The Facebook Pixel integration embeds your Meta Pixel tracking code on the public career portal. Once active, Meta can track visitor events — page views, application starts, and conversions — which you can use to measure the performance of Facebook and Instagram job ads and to build retargeting audiences.
What it does
- Loads your Facebook Pixel on all public career portal pages.
- Enables event tracking (page views, conversions) that feeds back into Meta Ads Manager for campaign measurement and audience building.
Prerequisites
- A Meta Business account with a Pixel created for your career portal.
- Your Pixel ID — a 15-to-16 digit number found in Meta Events Manager under Data Sources.
How to activate
- Go to Administration → Integrations and find the Facebook pixel card.
- Click Edit to open the configuration panel.
- Check Enable Facebook Pixel.
- Paste your Facebook Pixel Id (the numeric Pixel ID from Meta Events Manager) into the field.
- Click Save.
The Pixel begins firing on career portal pages immediately.
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable Facebook Pixel | Toggle that controls whether the Pixel code is injected into the career portal. |
| Facebook Pixel Id | The numeric Pixel ID from your Meta Events Manager (e.g. 1234567890123456). |
Tips
- Use Meta Pixel Helper to verify the Pixel is firing. This free Chrome extension confirms whether your Pixel ID loads correctly on career portal pages after you save the setting.
- Do not confuse the Pixel ID with the Ad Account ID. They are different numbers in Meta Business Suite — the Pixel ID is under Events Manager → Data Sources.
- Coordinate with your privacy/legal team before activating. Deploying a tracking pixel may require disclosure in your career portal’s privacy notice depending on your jurisdiction.
- Clearing the Pixel ID and saving removes tracking immediately.
