Delete a job application

Delete a job application permanently from the candidate’s Applications tab. The action opens a confirmation dialog before anything is removed.

How to open it

1. Open the candidate’s profile.
2. Go to the Applications tab.
3. Find the row for the application you want to delete.
4. Open the row action menu (3-dot icon on the right).
5. Click Delete.
6. The confirmation dialog appears.

What the dialog shows

The dialog displays a red alert box with two pieces of information:

• Are you sure you want to delete this application?
• This operation can not be reverted — deletion is permanent; there is no undo.

What happens after deletion

Clicking Delete removes the application from the list immediately. A success notification confirms the deletion. The candidate record itself is not affected — only the specific application is removed.

If the deletion fails, an error notification is shown and the application is not removed.

Tips

• Deletion is permanent. There is no restore option once an application is deleted.
• The candidate is not deleted. Only the specific application link between the candidate and the job is removed.
• You can also view the job or the kanban from the same row action menu before deciding to delete.
