Career page — Application form

Where to find it
Configuration → Career page → Application
Who can use it
Administrators with career-page access

The Application tab configures what candidates see and fill out when applying through your career site. It is organized into three sections: spontaneous application setup, applicant setup toggles, and the per-field applicant information table.

The Application tab. Three sections control the full candidate application experience.

Spontaneous Application Setup

This section contains one setting: Survey for spontaneous applications. Select a candidate survey from the dropdown to attach it to spontaneous (open) applications. When a candidate submits a spontaneous application, they will be presented with the selected survey.

Applicant Setup

Three on/off toggles control the application flow:

ToggleWhat it controls
Require candidate for a CVWhen on, the candidate must attach a CV to submit
Allow candidate to add more filesWhen on, the candidate can attach additional files beyond the CV
Show apply buttonWhen on, the apply button is visible on job listings

Applicant Information

A searchable table of the fields shown to candidates during the application process. For each field you can set:

  • Active — whether the field appears on the form. Fields that are always required (Email, Name, Phone Number) cannot be deactivated.
  • Mandatory — whether the field must be filled before submitting. The “Mandatory” toggle is only available when the field is active, and is locked for always-required fields.

Standard fields available:

Tips

  • Ask for less, not more. Every additional required field increases the chance a candidate abandons the form before submitting.
  • Use the filter at the top of the Applicant Information table to find a specific field quickly when the list is long.
  • Attach a survey to spontaneous applications only if your team has a process for reviewing and acting on the survey responses.
