Delete a contact
Delete a contact permanently from their profile page. The action opens a confirmation dialog before anything is removed.

How to open it
- Open the contact’s profile (click their name in the Contacts list).
- Click the 3-dot menu in the top-right corner of the profile.
- Choose Delete contact.
- The confirmation dialog appears.
What the dialog shows
The dialog displays a red alert box with two pieces of information:
- Are you sure you want to delete this contact?
- This operation can not be reverted — deletion is permanent; there is no undo.
If the contact is linked to more than one client, an additional warning appears: deleting will remove the contact from all associated clients, not just the one you are currently viewing.
What happens after deletion
Clicking Delete removes the contact and redirects you to the dashboard. A success notification confirms the deletion.
If the deletion fails (for example, when the contact has jobs linked to them), an error notification is shown and the contact is not removed.
Tips
- Deletion is permanent. There is no restore option once a contact is deleted.
- Contacts with jobs cannot be deleted. Remove or reassign the associated jobs first.
- Shared contacts affect all clients. If a contact belongs to multiple clients, all those links are removed when the contact is deleted.
