Job files

Documents attached to a specific job — briefs from the client, role specs, sample contracts. Upload, preview, download, delete.

Where to find it
Job detail → Files tab
Who can use it
Anyone with access to jobs.

The Files tab on a job stores documents specific to that opening — a hiring manager’s brief, a role spec, the client’s sample employment contract. Same controls as Files on a candidate or client.

Same layout as Files on any other page. Add at the top-left, sort top-right, list on the left, preview on the right.

Add Files

Click Add Files to open the upload side panel. Drag a PDF, Word document, or ODT file in (10 MB per file). Accented characters in filenames are converted to plain equivalents — “Brief — Acme.pdf” saves as “Brief___Acme.pdf”. The content is unchanged.

Sort the list

Click the sort icon top-right to sort by Creation date, ascending or descending. Default: newest first.

The file list and preview

Click a file to preview it on the right. The action bar above the preview has Open, Download, Delete.

Files appear in a list on the left, sorted by creation date by default. The newest file is auto-selected when you open the tab.

Action bar

Three buttons at the top-right of the preview:

  • Open — opens the file in a new browser tab.
  • Download — saves to your computer with the original filename.
  • Delete — opens a red confirmation.

Tips

  • Drop the client brief here when you create the job. Every teammate working on the job can then read the same source of truth.
  • Use descriptive filenames. “Brief-Acme-Backend-2026-Q1.pdf” beats “document1.pdf”.
  • Delete obsolete versions. When a brief gets revised, delete or rename the previous version to avoid teammates reading the wrong one.
