Administrators with career-page access

The Features tab gives you individual on/off control over three optional capabilities of your career site. Each feature is toggled independently in an “Enable” column.

The Features tab. Toggle each capability independently.

Available features

When enabled, a search bar appears on the career site so candidates can filter jobs by keyword directly from the home page.

Spontaneous Application

When enabled, candidates can submit a spontaneous application (also called an open application) — expressing interest in working for your organization even when no specific job matches their profile. Configuration for this feature is available on the Application tab.

Job Alert

When enabled, visitors can subscribe to receive an email notification when a new job matching their criteria is published on your career site. This keeps engaged candidates in your pipeline between postings.

Tips

  • Disable features you are not operationally ready to support. Enabling spontaneous applications requires a process for reviewing and following up on them.
  • Enable Job Alert only if your email integration is active. The notification emails require a working email integration to be sent.
  • Check the live site after toggling a feature to confirm it appears or disappears as expected.
