Add candidate to job (from kanban)
Add an existing candidate to this job’s kanban from the Add-candidate sidebar — picks the job with a type-ahead search showing client logo + job number + title + client.
Add an existing candidate (or several) to this job from the kanban — without going through the candidate profile or the full apply flow. Useful when you’re moving a candidate from another job, or remembering a past applicant who fits.
Screenshot pendingThe Add application(s) sidebar showing the selected candidate(s) as badges, an async-select job picker that displays each result with the client logo, job title, job number and client name.
When to use this
You’re on a job’s kanban and want to:
- Add a candidate you found in another job or in the global candidate list.
- Re-add a candidate to a different open job after you decided to redirect them.
- Batch-create applications for several candidates onto the same job.
How to open it
- From the kanban, click the Add candidate button at the top.
- The sidebar slides in from the right.
What you fill in
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Candidate(s) | Read-only badges of the candidate(s) you started from. If you came here without selecting first, you’ll need to back out and select them on the kanban. |
| Job | Type-ahead picker showing matching jobs as you type. Each row shows: client logo, job title, job number (e.g. #12345), and client name — so you can pick the right opening among look-alikes. |
What happens when you click Send
An application is created for each candidate × chosen job. The candidate appears in the new job’s kanban at the starting workflow status; nothing changes on the current job. If you wanted to MOVE rather than copy, separately delete the original application — by default this action adds, it doesn’t move.
Who can do what
| What you want to do | What you need |
|---|---|
| Add a candidate to a job | Create access to applications |
| See the job in the picker | Read access to the destination job |
Tips
- Searches use both job title and number. The fastest way to pick a specific job is to type its job number — exact match guaranteed.
- If you can’t find a job, it may be closed. Closed jobs don’t accept new applications and don’t appear in this picker.
- Removing duplicate applications happens on the source job’s kanban — pick the candidate and choose Decline or move them off.
